Aluminium prices dropped hammered by concerns of rising China supply now pollutionlinked output curbs have expired as well as U.S. trade tensions.

 

China's inventory of refined aluminium including SHFE warrants amounted to 2.26 million mt as of Monday March 26.

 

China's aluminium production fell 1.8 percent in January-February from a year earlier, data showed.

 

Warehouse stock for Aluminium at LME was at 1273150mt that is down by -3225mt.

Crude oil futures to their highest since November 2014, picking up 2.4% for the week, as rising worries over the economic crisis in Venezuela and possible new sanctions against Iran increased the potential for tighter global crude supplies and sent prices back to their highest settlement since late 2014. Venezuela and Iran are both members of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries. An OPEC survey conducted by S&P Global Platts showed Friday that the group’s crude production in April fell for a third straight month to a one-year low. It produced 32 million barrels a day last month, down 140,000 barrels a day from March, with the survey attributing the drop to Caracas falling output.    Benchmark crude oil futures for June delivery jumped by $1.29 or 1.90 percent to settle at $69.72 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
